The 2015 Europe Day will take place in Città della Scienza with many events that will see young people as protagonists
The 9 may 2015, at the scientific pole of City of Science, Will host the Europe Day, which will celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Schumann declaration, which laid the foundations for the construction of a united and democratic Europe.
In light of the war conflicts, the problems linked to poverty, marginalization and emigration, one wonders what was accomplished of that great initial project which was inspired by the principles of sustainability, equality, democracy, which nowadays appear to us as abstract concepts.
During the Europe Day, through seminars, meetings, musical performances, workshops and laboratory activities, two important themes will be tackled: that of the'hospitality and the integration of emigrants and disadvantaged, and that of the fundamental role of the knowledge as a tool for social and democratic growth.
In order to relaunch the European continent economically and culturally, which is experiencing a period of severe crisis, despite the apparent well-being of many industrialized countries, it is necessary young, take the helm in hand and rescue this ship now adrift.
Il program will be full of initiatives especially focused on young people, therefore, who must be the future and the true protagonists of a new Europe.
