“Traveling with Nannarella”, Women's Day 2017 at the Pietrarsa Railway Museum in honor of the great Anna Magnani!

On the occasion of Women's Day 2017, 8 March, National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa welcomes a special tribute organized by the Accademia Magna Graecia in honor of Anna Magnani. “Traveling with Nannarella” is the name given to the initiative, which celebrates the unforgettable Roman actress and all the women, of which it becomes a symbol.

Her and the female universe's courage and determination will be at the center of meetings, performances and stories. The appointments of the day are designed both for adults and for boys, making the event also suitable for schools. To participate, you must book a ticket which, in addition to access to the initiative, includes a free visit to the museum collection.

Anna Magnani was one of the greatest interpreters of Italian cinema, winner of a Oscar as best actress protagonist for “La rosa tatuata”, 1955, with Burt Lancaster. She is best remembered for films such as "Rome open city", "Bellissima" and "Mamma Roma".
