Republic Day: concert at the Teatro San Carlo

Il 2nd June is the day that the birth of the Italian republic. In fact the 2 and 3 June of the 1946 the was held institutional referendum by universal suffrage in which the Italian people were called to choose the type of government for the country, between monarchy and republic. After 85 years of reign, Italy became a republic and June 2 was chosen as the day to celebrate it.

On the occasion of the sixty-seven years, the Italian Republic will be held for the first time at Teatro San Carlo a concert to celebrate this important anniversary of our nation, scheduled for Saturday June 1.

Coro Voci Bianche San Carlo Theater

He will perform the Chorus of White Voices of the maximum partenopeo, directed by Stefania Rinaldi, together with the Jazz Band of the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella conducted by Maestro Sannini.

The concert Republic Day, Music and Songs for the Constitution, will propose to the public some compositions created to celebrate the Italian Constitution. Special guest of the evening will be Philippe Davenport, the French art critic and journalist who will read some articles of the Constitution dedicated to art and culture.
