The Vomero neighborhood in Naples welcomes "Degusta, the Tomato Festival" with many typical products of Campania!

Naples returns to celebrate its culinary tradition with another gastronomic event, Degusta - 2017 Tomato Festival al Vomero. The kermesse will be in via Luca Giordano from 30 March to 2 April and will see the participation of Campania companies in the agri-food sector.

A real itinerary of taste that wants to enhance the flavors of the highest quality of our region. The protagonist of the festival will naturally be tomato, a food that in all its forms is at the center of the Neapolitan cuisine.

The products of the Festival

Next to Pomodorino from the Piennolo del Vesuvio and San Marzano, there will also be the Fiaschello di Battipaglia and you will be able to discover many other products of protected and controlled origin.
Between these cheeses from Irpinia, craft beer, Gragnano pasta, salami del Matese and honey. Various ancient and antique flours will also be presented natural cosmetic creams. You will also be able to learn how to organize a small vegetable garden at home and how the honey extraction process works.

There will also be stands with Gragnano PGI Pasta and wine Catalanesca del Vesuvio.
But there will also be many cheeses and dairy products, including caciocavalli, mozzarella, provola and ricotta.
