The Vomero Festival arrives at Vomero where you can taste many varieties, but also cheeses, salami and craft beer.
In the heart of the Vomero district, from the 10 13 2016 November It will take place Degusta - Tomato Festival, a gastronomic event dedicated to the flavors of our land.
In via Luca Giordano about 20 companies in Campania will offer their products to make them known to passers-by and to promote and enhance the culinary traditions of our territories. The products presented, mostly niche and above all as a designation of origin, will mainly be i tomatoes of the region.
There will be companies with tomato-rich stands Piennolo del Vesuvio, San Marzano tomatoes, the Corbarino and datterino and many realities will come from the Vesuvian.
But not only, because they will be able to know and taste also cold cuts, cheese, fine extra virgin olive oil, wines from Vesuvius and Irpinia, Asprino di Aversa, baked goods, craft beer and the Pastificio di Gragnano will be present.
The visitors, as mentioned, will be able to taste the many products and participation in the festival will be totally free. And every day a proposal will be proposed tomato dish prepared with pasta from the Pastificio di Gragnano.
There will also be farmers who will show to the public how to create a string of twine for a perfect bunch of Piennolo tomatoes.
