Orient Festival 2015 at the Mostra d'Oltremare

The 2015 Orient Festival will make us discover the culture and traditions of the Rising Sun.

The Mostra d'Oltremare will host the Oriental Festival from 11 to 13 and from 18 to 20 September 2015, dedicated to the traditions, customs and customs of Asian civilization.

In the various pavilions we can admire the Kimono dressing, the ritual of the Tea ceremony and the stages of its preparation, the performances of the Chinese acrobatic circus, the art of traditional Thai masseurs, the art of origami, the traditional ceremonies of Indian marriage and warriors.

There will also be the dressing of the Kimono, the Tea Ceremony, the traditions of origami and ikebana, that of the mandala, that of Zen Sumi-e Painting, of the NO Theater, but also the Japanese gourmet Masters, of fruit carving and you will discover traditional writing in ideograms and many other activities.

There will be no lack of food stalls where you can learn the techniques of the sushi and taste the spicy dishes of oriental cuisine, characterized by strong flavors and the use of exotic ingredients.

In the various bazaars the public can buy fabrics, clothing, bags, shoes, fabrics, jewelry, antique jewelry, amulets, incense, Candles, essential oils, tattoos, indoor and outdoor objects, pottery, statues, books, herbal products, infusions, spices, tea, organic and natural vegan products.

You can listen to them concerts of the artists of the Rising Sun., be enchanted by the sinuous oriental dances, participate in the many conferences on health and wellness, especially mental, or enroll in yoga or martial arts classes.

A fascinating festival, which will bring together Western and Eastern culture.
