Paths between the workshops of nativity scenes and gastronomic itineraries for the 2017 Easter Fair at the Decumani in Naples.
The traditional one will take place again this year Easter Fair at the Decumani, whose inauguration is scheduled for the 25 March 2017 in Piazza San Gaetano. The event will last until the 30 April involving the traders of the area especially the artisans of the crib shops of San Gregorio Armeno.
It is the fifth edition of the Easter Fair, proposed as always by the Associazione Corpo di Napoli - Onlus and is a sort of extension of the Christmas Fair. The path will be inspired by the sacred themes and faith, also considering the particular religious vocation of via San Gregorio Armeno with the many nativity scenes and shepherds that will be exhibited. Thus, we want to maintain the deep bond with this tradition, but also to launch a message of Hope in a period of crisis like the present one.
This edition is dedicated to the disabled who need more commitment to scientific research. The Associazione Corpo di Napoli, sensitive to the subject, often organizes guided tours and meetings in the shops, also providing various performances and demonstrations.
The routes
The Easter Fair provides two types of routes. The first is that craftsmanship in the cribs' shops whose artisans will show off the various phases of the Passion of Jesus, while the second will be a food and wine route the (re) discovery of trattorias, pizzerias and confectioners in the Decumani area.
Each member business will exhibit a flyer with the artisanal and enogastronomic itinerary proposed to tourists and visitors.
