On the Lungomare di Napoli comes the Flash Book, a special flash mob dedicated to the exchange of books and readings of songs
Also arrives in Naples Flash Book, the event conceived by the movement # ioleggoperché, an initiative conceived by the Italian Publishers Association and born on social networks with the aim of proposing a series of projects in various Italian cities to promote reading.
The event in Naples
In Naples, this particular flash mob dedicated to the book will take place on the Lungomare Caracciolo, more precisely under the historical Fountain of the Lovers, renamed for the occasion Fonte del Libro. The date to be marked on the calendar is 23 April 2015, World Book and Copyright Day. From 10.30 you can exchange books or even just give someone to those present, as well as having the chance to read some songs of their favorite authors.
Organized in collaboration with Lucia Scodellaro, photojournalist of Flash Partenopei, Maddalena Granata of CM Yelp and Valeria Russo, journalist of the Eco della Verità, it will be part of a live event that will take place throughout Italy.
The purpose of the initiative
With these events we want to stimulate reading those who dedicate little time to books and to the reflection that can arise from them. The so-called "messengers"Of # ioleggoperché, the collaborators of the movement, and of course readers, who make their passion a mission, with the aim of spread the love of reading to as many people as possible. Generally, the messengers go to bookstores or offices of associations that adhere to the initiative and entrust their books to the people present, to encourage them to read and discuss them.
