The Archaeological Museum of Naples hosts Fuoriclassico 2017, a review of the classics with intellectuals and artists: among the guests also Luigi Lo Cascio and Massimo Cacciari.
From November 2017 to June 2018 il National archeologic museum of Naples becomes the scene of an important review. It is about 2017 Fuoriclassico, Program of 15 meetings on the classics with 30 guests. In fact, the various appointments will participate actors, writers, artists visual and philosophers and there will be also other locations.
Among the names present those of Luigi Lo Cascio, Massimo Cacciari, Anna Bonaiuto and Hisham Matar, winner of the 2017 Pulitzer Prize. In the second edition of Fuoriclassico the contemporaneity of the classics is investigated and we discuss about migrations and metamorphosis. The theme is ideally connected with the works of Ovid and Giambattista Vico.
The goal is to free the ancient and modern classics to restore their restless and polymorphic nature. This year the review is made up not only of theatrical encounters, but also of visual elements, thanks to visual artists like Antonio Biasucci and Alejandro Gomez de Tuddo.
