Free entry to the Madre Museum of Naples for the 2016 Contemporary Day with activities and guided tours!
AMACI, the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums, kicks off the 2016 Contemporary Day, this year in its twelfth edition. Saturday 15 October 2016 the Mother Museum of Naples and the other museums that are members of the organization will welcome the public free of charge for the occasion.
The initiative thus aims to contribute to the diffusion of modern and contemporary art in Italy. This year's title is "Prayer for Europe", symbol of a continent open to the Mediterranean countries. "That's MADRE" is the name of the rich program that will involve adults and children throughout the day free activities and educational tours.
At the Madre the initiative will have two previews, the 12 and the 14 October. The meetings will be attended by Mimmo Jodice, who will guide his exhibition “Attesa. 1960-2016 ".

Presentation of all the initiatives by the president AMACI Gianfranco Maraniello and director of the MART-Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto, the director of Mother Andrea Viliani, the president of the Donnaregina Foundation for Contemporary Arts Pierpaolo Forte. The meeting will also be an opportunity for comparison between the two museums on the artistic research of Mimmo Jodice, who will be present at the meeting, and a comparison between the two major exhibitions dedicated by the Mother and the MART (both AMACI members) in the 2016 all 'artist.
