To celebrate the Holocaust Memorial Day, among the many appointments in Naples, a touching theatrical representation appears.
Il 27 January 2015, the Well and the Pendulum will stage "The Found Friend", the touching story by Fred Uhlman.
The recital, with Paolo Cresta and Giacinto Piracci, will tell about the friendship between two teenagers in the Germany of the 30 years, when the National Socialism he began to dominate more and more strongly and violently.
The protagonists of the story are two sixteen year olds: Hans Schwarz, a Jew and a member of the upper middle class, and Konradin von Hohenfels, of a noble and German family. Between the two will born a deep friendship, despite the difficulties and ideologies of the time.
A friendship that will be interrupted by the wishes of the Konradin family. A German, Aryan family, in compliance with the Hitlerian ideologies and which inevitably rejected and discriminated against the Jews. Konradin therefore, even if against will, will become increasingly cold and scornful towards his friend.
A bond that will be further broken by the Nazi ideas in force and by theHolocaust that will force Hans to move away permanently from Germany.
The two friends will never be seen again. Only years later, Hansnow grown up, he will discover that his German friend was killed during the war because he was involved in a plot against Hitler. In that Hans will find his friend forever. An exciting story, among the many and painful stories set during the years of Shoah. Not to forget.
