Parades in period clothes and duels on horseback at the 2017 Carousel of Seats at the Bosco di Capodimonte and in Piazza Plebiscito in Naples!
September 30th and October 1st 2017 the usual appointment with the will take place Carousel of the Seats in Wood of Capodimonte in Naples.
The seven seats of Naples were administrative institutions of the city and on this occasion they will be represented by the Noble Knights that for two days will be protagonists of cavalry events.
There will also be a choreographic parade composed of knights, ladies, flag-wavers, drummers and armigers dressed in period clothing Renaissance will give life to dances, knightly duels, the characteristic rides and parades in Aragonese style.
The event is open to all a free participation and it is always a suggestive show not to be missed.
Seat Joust Program
Saturday 30rd September

On Saturday there will be a big one consecration of the 7 Seats both at Basilica of San Francesco di Paola in Piazza del Plebiscito (once called Largo di Palazzo) with the oath of the New Knights in defense of the city and the blessing of the red laces of the Node and of the Holy Spirit.
Sunday October 1
10.00
In the Wood of Capodimonte the real will take place Carousel of seats by Diomede Carafa and the carousel to the ring.
There will be the Cavalieri della Real Cavallerizza and the Seats that will compete in the Giostra and in the weapons games on horseback.
