A journey back in time in search of their "ex" made by the protagonist of "Some Girl (s)" by Neil LaBute, staged at Piccolo Bellini

Back on stage at Piccolo Bellin theateri a comedy, intriguing and acute, written by one of the most beloved American authors, Neil LaBute.

Some Girl (s) is the story of a young man, teacher and aspiring writer, who decides, before getting married, to go on a trip à rebours in your life, looking for their ex to try, in a paradoxical attempt to atone for the mistakes of previous lives, to fix, as the author himself says, "the mess he made in his love life on the way to his maturity ".

What emerges is the tragicomic portrait, poised between Rohmer and Voltaire, of a man-child: an "adultescente" who staggers between fear of commitment, sense of guilt and a ruthless ambition that drives him, a bit out of cynicism and a bit for unconsciousness, to consume and manipulate the women in his life. Nicely defeated on all fronts, in the end he will be able to get up, despite the bruises, without thinking too much about him. And with the same lightness, or superficiality as always, he will begin to grind his life again between one damage and another.

Surrounding the protagonist four womenand, while a fifth will be the interpreter of an unusual extra content. In fact in this show is contaminated with the multimedia that goes beyond theatrical boundaries: thanks to a link, viewers will have the opportunity to attend a fifth episode of the story that, visible only online, will lead them even deeper in this investigation on the complexities of man-woman relationships.
