June Youth 2014 | 30 days of events in Naples

The City of Naples dedicates an entire month to the youth of the city through the June Youth kermesse. 30 days of events, initiatives, shows, concerts and much more!

If the May in Naples is known as the month of monuments and our artistic and cultural heritage, that of June, since last year, and the Youth month, the real "human" heritage of our city, to which the Municipality and the Youth Department, led by Alessandra Clemente, have dedicated a series of events and manifestations of all kinds.

Il June of the Youth, which will become an annual appointment by decision of the Junta, will offer the city of Naples well 30 days of events, shows, initiatives, concerts, exhibitions, flashmob, sports, guided tours, performancand, which will involve not only young Neapolitans but also tourists.

In fact during the kermesse June Youth this year, particular emphasis will be placed ontourist reception, through the initiative Welcome in Naples - Welcome to Art, which will enhance, at the same time, the talent, passion, pride and creativity of young people, but also the Neapolitan identity and primary resources for the social, economic, cultural and territorial development of the city: young people and tourism.

June Youth 2014 will offer to the city 30 days of events that will take place in all the 10 municipalities of Napoli, without privileging any area over the others. The young people who will take part in the initiative through their activities have been financed by the Department of Youth - Presidency of the Council of Ministers and by the National Association of Italian Municipalities with 150 thousand euros through a call for tenders that aimed to promote the best design ideas that had tourist hospitality and the enhancement of the territory as their leitmotif.

The projects presented, which will animate the city of Naples throughout the month of June, will cover the following activities: Social circus, Street art, Game, Photography, Acting, Graffiti, Public art, Food, Wellness, Sport, Music, Dance.

Scheduled events and initiatives of solidarity, live music and DJ sets, flashmob and street art, bike tours and running events, cocktails, treasure hunts, guided tours to discover the city, shows, tastings and film festivals. The Clan of the Artists in Scampia and in the Virgilian Park, and the program is also scheduled Gay Pride , European Music Festival, and setting up a real one Youth Village on the Lungomare Liberato.
