On stage at the Bellini Theater the show "Night of a woman with guests" by Annibale Ruccello, between comedy and thriller

The famous Giuliana De Sio interpret, at the Bellini Theater from the 31 October to the 9 November 2014, a theatrical play by Annibale Ruccello of 1983, Night of a woman with guests.

Also here Ruccello is inspired by the thriller cinema, that of the '70s by Scorsese and Kubrick, through a journey into the everyday life crossed and contaminated by the thriller and in the desolate panorama of the urban periphery, of the degraded ghettos, between local TV and free radios. Between mixed feelings, comedy and a series of twists.

La each other takes place in a two-story house on the desolate outskirts of a metropolis where Adriana carries on her life, in the sultry heat, between songs and notes of a piano, between television and a third pregnancy, with a husband, Michele, who works night and returns home at dawn. One evening some strange individuals enter the house, leaving memories resurfacing without logic, distressing ghosts of the past, which will provoke in Adriana an atrocious, senseless reaction, but necessary for her to escape from that gray and obsessive prison.

A show that brings out some key points of the poetics of Ruccello: the isolated place, the protagonist barricaded inside, the external threat that sows horror and dismay until a final cathartic, violence and modernity of the metropolis.
