The rooms of the Maschio Angioino will host the most beautiful dances in the nineteenth-century society!
Il 28 September 2015, MAschio Angevin will host the "Nineteenth-century Grand Ball at the Angioina Court", the great evening in costume dedicated to court dances.
The event, organized by the Associazione Culturale Società di Danza Napoli, is part of the project "Summer in Naples" and presents itself as an interesting opportunity to get to know the Neapolitan 800 Society.
Thanks to the beauty of the rooms of the Maschio Angioino, the participants will be catapulted into the past and will be able to relive the excitement of attending a great vintage dance at the pace of quadrilles, waltz, contredanses, polkas e mazurkas.
The initiative is the result of the work of Dance Company that, since 1991, studies and repeats the historical dances throughout Italy. The association, in fact, is part of a Federation of clubs in thirty Italian cities and every year, successfully, manages to revive the most elegant ancient dances.
The nineteenth-century Grand Ball is also part of one cyclical review of costume events that Società Danza has organized in the most beautiful castles of Naples and surroundings like the Royal Palace of Caserta, Villa Bruno, Villa Signorini and many other buildings full of history and charm.
