Who said that Halloween is it an exclusively American holiday? For some years now also in Naples there have been parties and evenings organized on the occasion of the scariest event of the year! Our city lends itself particularly to celebration of the dead, thanks to the centuries-old cult of ghosts, spirits and witches that distinguishes our tradition.
The weekend of Halloween, which will begin Friday 31 October, will therefore include, also for the November 1 (All Saints Day) and for the November 2 (commemoration of the dead) "thematic" events to connect the Anglo-Saxon and American tradition to the Neapolitan one.

Neapolitan Halloween with Insolitaguida
The Insolitaguida association is planning three events for the Halloween weekend. Do you want to visit the tomb of Count Dracula? The NonsoloArt association will take you on a fascinating itinerary full of stories and mysteries that populate the streets, the Vicoli and vicarielli of the historic center of Naples, including the legend of Count Vlad III, prince of Wallachia, known by the nickname of "impaler", better known as Count Dracula, a dark vampire, whose tomb seems to be inside of the monumental complex of Santa Maria la Nova. The witches of the castle
The cultural association Mani e Vulcani has organized, for the little ones, a guided tour to Castel dell'Ovo, on the rock of Megaride, for a morning dedicated to a Neapolitan Halloween, including stories, jokes and sweets.
