Ghosts at the Castle are back again this year. A visit for adults and children to discover the mysteries of the Maschio Angioino.

Itinera , an art services company, has once again organized its famous Halloween event . We've now reached the twelfth edition of " Ghosts at the Castle ," a fun visit where children and adults can immerse themselves in Neapolitan traditions and discover fascinating mysteries.

This event isn't just about copying American customs, like pumpkins, skeletons, witches, and the like, but also about introducing you to Neapolitan culture , which blends mystery, legend, superstition, and popular beliefs that give our city its own " cult of the dead ." The theme, therefore, will be perfect for the Halloween season.

Itinera revives the well-known legend of the Anime Pezzentelle (Small Souls) , which, as you probably know, tells the story of some little spirits who return to their ancient homes every year on November 2nd: the popular Neapolitan palaces.

The tour will take place inside the mysterious Maschio Angioino , and an Itinera guide will accompany you inside, entertaining you with fascinating stories that will allow you to discover Neapolitan legends and traditions related to the cult of the dead. In particular, you will explore the courtyard, the Armoury Hall, the Chapel, and the Barons' Hall.

An event for both adults and children. The former will be guided by experts, while the latter will explore everything through a fun game.
