November 24th and 25th 2023 a special event will take place, in particular, it will arrive at the Acacia Theater in Naples on National Ballet of Georgia, a show in which the Sukhishvili Company will perform, made up of 70 dancers who will bring 2500 traditional costumes to the stage. It will therefore be a journey through the traditions, history and art of this place.
This is a show that the Sukhishvili company offers every year in around a hundred countries around the world and is always sold out. A show not to be missed, also because Sukhishvili has been called the eighth wonder of the world.
What does the show involve?
Defined as “Best Broadway Show”, “Hurricane on Stage” the ballet by the Sukhishvili company is one of the shows you absolutely must see. After its inception, the Sukhishvili dance group began touring around the world, so much so that to date more than 90 million spectators have witnessed their live show.
The artists perform, in their beyonds 150 dances, wearing wonderful traditional costumes belonging to Sukhishvili Georgian National Ballet. The costumes are made in natural fabric and decorated with embroidery, paintings, applications, glitter and stones.
The orchestra that accompanies the ballet also features exclusive musical instruments and the musicians perform their music with a special technique that is not taught in any school but is tpassed down from generation to generation.
