At the Museum of the treasure of San Gennaro, on stage the most precious and renowned exhibition in the world! The Treasure of the Patron of Naples is back!
Finally Naples has re-appropriated the Treasure of San Gennaro. To celebrate the magnificence of one of the most precious heritage in the world, strictly made in Naples, from the 2 April 2015 is in progress, at the Museum of the Treasure of San Gennaroa new exposure.
The exhibition, which it will last at least throughout 2015, is characterized by gold, jewels, sapphires, emeralds, cult objects studded with diamonds, rubies and much more.
The pride of the renewed exhibition is the presence of prestigious gemmed miter, which counts about 3694 precious stones and represents one of the most prestigious jewelry in the world.
A masterpiece of thegoldsmith art, signed by the artist Matteo Treglia who made the priceless episcopal headdress at the request of the Deputation.
Defined as "unique heritage in the world for artistic beauty and cultural depth", the treasure Donato to the Patron Saint of Naples it also represents a clear example of the extraordinary goldsmith's art and of the excellent mastery of the Neapolitan artists of the time.
A spiritual and economic wealth of immense value, which has traveled the world and known the most important and famous cities. And after the last experiences in Rome and Paris, the priceless treasure returned home, to Naples, which, after a long time, has the extraordinary opportunity to admire it complete.
Furthermore, for the whole 2015 the entry ticket will cost 5 € instead of 10 €, a special reduction designed to allow everyone to visit the precious exhibition.
