Evocative scenes and heartbreaking encounters at the representation of Dante's Inferno in the Museo del Sottosuolo!

The October 22 2015 the evocative representation of the first cantica of theInferno of Dante, in the frame of the Museum of the Underworld of Naples, under Piazza Cavour.

The show will be set in three different rooms, each of which will be a particular stage of the journey of the Supreme Poet in the various circles of Hell, a symbolic place of human misery, where sinners are punished according to the law of retaliation.

In the first room, called "White Room", The public meets Dante in the company of the pagan poet Virgil, they begin the journey by listening to the invoking and enamored voice of Beatrice.
In the second room, that of the "riggiole“, The meeting of Dante and his spiritual guide with Cerberus and then with Pluto, the God of wealth, who will try in vain to oppose their difficult journey.
Finally, in the last room, baptized "Of the war", The two wayfarers will meet three characters from previous times and eras: Ulysses, hero and damned, who pronounces the famous phrase "You were not made to live like Brutes but to follow virtue and knowledge", Count Ugolino and Lucifer, the Absolute Evil in person.

To seal this poignant atmosphere, there will be the original soundtrack, written by Enzo Gragnaniello, the choreography, costumes and special effects. The direction is by Domenico M. Corrado.
