It has only been two weeks sincestart of the Island of the Famous 2023, but last night, during the new episode aired exceptionally Tuesday May 2 2023 due to Labor Day, there was the first abandonment: the former conductor Marco Predolin he withdrew from the competition and the announcement was made during the live broadcast.

What happened? After losing the televote against Helena Prestes, Predolin had been sent to the Island of Sant'Elena to continue his solo experience. At first he seemed happy, but then he changed his mind, so much so that when the production had sent him a diary instead of food, theex conductor had harshly criticized her, saying his thoughts were "absolutely negative" and that he wanted to eat and sleep.

There is one however: theabandonment of Marco Predolin is not due to his criticisms of the production of l'Island of the Famous 2023, but a malore, which the former conductor had while he was on the island of Sant'Elena. The intervention of the production was immediate, which proceeded to call him immediately to make medical checks.

His condition was not known until yesterday, but then, during the episode, immediately after the decision of Claudia Motta to leave the island, the official announcement of Predolin's retirement for health reasons has arrived. And, again yesterday, the former conductor also has revealed the reason for which he was forced to abandon the reality show:

“I wanted to thank everyone for the affection you have shown me and for the nice words you have written to me!
I want to clarify that going out WAS NOT MY DECISION but a decision of the production following blood tests which highlighted my unsuitability to continue to support forced lack of food. I am very sorry that this adventure of mine ended like this, thanks again to everyone, we will see you on Monday in the studio.”
