In Naples, in Piazza Mercato and in Borgo Sant'Eligio there will be a showcase for all artisans and artists thanks to the "L'Arte in Vetrina" event
The longest-running artistic event in the city of Naples will also be held this year which, also following the success of last year, reaches its twelfth edition and will see its protagonists Neapolitan artisans and artists looking for exhibition spaces and commercial activities of Piazza Mercato and Borgo Sant'Eligio.
Art in the Showcase was born with the aim of facilitating artisans and artists in their constant search for a place where they can exhibit their works and artifacts, and is held precisely during the Christmas period, to allow the shop windows of commercial activities in this area of the city of Naples to host such artistic productions, in a magical synergy between respect for historical and cultural tradition and commercial "spirit".
To masterfully carry the initiative forward Art in the Showcase the president of the Borgo Sant'Eligio Historical Association, Enzo Falcone, always careful to look a showcase for everyone and to enhance the area that encloses Piazza Mercato and the Borgo, "drowned" by the economic crisis but which remains one of the most famous historic districts of the city of Naples.
Thus from the 1 December 2013 to the 6 January 2014 you will be able to admire the shop windows and commercial activities of the area enriched by the artistic works of those who do not give up to a state of immobility due to the economic and cultural crisis, but who, on the contrary, have faith in a possibility of rebirth, through the conception of new cultural paths and the support of private subjects.
