The University of Naples Federico II opens a new office in Villa Ferretti in Bacoli, to study submerged archeology!

The mayor of Bacoli, Josi Gerardo Della Ragione , announced some excellent news on his Facebook page: the University of Naples “Federico II” is opening a new campus in Villa Ferretti in Bacoli.

In fact, the various works that will lead to the creation of this new headquarters, designed specifically for the study and research of underwater archaeology, began just a few days ago .

A new branch of the Federico II University of Naples, designed to study underwater archaeology, will be built in Bacoli, as announced to the citizens by the city's mayor, Josi Gerardo Della Ragione.

Specifically, the new faculty will be built in Villa Ferretti, directly beneath Baia Castle. The villa is a property seized from organized crime and represents a symbol of social redemption.

Villa Ferretti has hosted cultural events and various performances for several years, but it will soon be the home of this new faculty. The mayor emphasizes that even during construction, access to the green park, beach, and sea will still be permitted.
