This year the castagna is arousing particular interest, certainly also as a consequence of the post-lockdown period where people want to return to total normality. After the various appointments that we have proposed to you, now we move to Villamaina, in the province of Avellino.
The chestnut festival was organized by the association "Women of Villamaina" and will be held on November 12, 2022 starting at 19.30 at Piazza del Risorgimento. Besides good food and local wine, the event will be accompanied by the live music of the folk group "Piccimondo".
As in all such festivals, in addition to the chestnut that will be the beating heart of the event, there will be others typical local dishes to delight visitors as well as others traditional and fun activities.
