The Capri Funicular reopens to the public, it is the fastest way to connect the center of the island with the Port.
After about three months of work stops, the Capri Funicular has reopened its doors to the public. These were interventions both maintenance and beautification, therefore for the protection of travelers but also to give the eye its part.
It is the means of transport to go from the center of Capri to Marina Grande and vice versa, in fact it takes only three minutes, and finally it can be reused by residents and tourists. Both stations, both the upper and the lower ones, have been made more aesthetically, but also the covering tunnel has been covered with waterproof elements and a LED lighting system. The steel parts have been eliminated, so the vault can enjoy much more light.
The works at the upper station also contribute to making the central square, famous all over the world, even more beautiful.
