Comics and superheroes are the protagonists of the La Grandiosa Dc exhibition at the Pignatelli Museum for the Comicon!

Until May 2016, at Pignatelli Cortes Museum, will be set up shows The Grandiosa DC Comics, the famous publishing house that deals with publications on superheroes.

Simultaneous with the performance of the comic book fair Comicon and in the year that Superheroes Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman return to theaters with the highly anticipated film Batman vs. Superman by Zack Snyder, thanks to this original exhibition we will discover the stories and anecdotes that lie behind the success of the comic book characters that still today make entire generations dream.

Furthermore, the various phases of the drafting of the superheroistic tale and how cartoonists Alan Moore and Frank Miller, overturned the editorial canons and the concept of hero of the DC Comics, creating the atypical heroes Watchmen and The Return of the Dark Knight.

We can admire the original tables of international designers like Jack Kirby, Frank Miller, Todd McFarlane, Alex Ross, Simon Bisley, John Bolton, Jim Lee and Italian authors including Mirka Andolfo, Laura Braga, Riccardo Burchielli, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Werther Dell'Edera, Carmine di Giandomenico, Davide Fabbri, Fabrizio Fiorentino.

The exhibition is held with the DC Comics USA, in collaboration with the Italian RW-Lion editor and with the support of collectors. Later, an essay-catalog published by COMICON Edizioni in the series I libri di COMICON will be published.
