Pompeii @ Mother. Archaeological matter
Al Mother Museum of Naples an original exhibition is underway that reveals the link between the archaeological past of Pompeii and contemporary art. Through the works of more than 90 artists and modern and contemporary intellectuals, such as Goethe, Le Corbusier, Andy Warhol and many others, you will discover the similarities between the art of the past, represented by artefacts and artefacts from the excavations of Pompeii, and documents and testimonies of modern art and contemporary, expression of experimental artistic research.

Museum of Folly - from Goya to Maradona
La Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore at Pietrasanta it is the seat chosen by the famous art critic Vittorio Sgarbi to host his artistic exhibition dedicated to link between art and madness.
The exhibition will involve you in a journey through the most hidden meanders of the human mind, crossed by disturbances and disturbances, of various artists, important figures such as Goya, Antonio Mancini, Fausto Pirandello, Adolfo Wildt and Francis Bacon, Van Gogh, to Maradona, considered the "Caravaggio of the twentieth century" because both have transformed life into art.

Van Gogh Immersive Experience
The famous multimedia exhibition dedicated to works of Vincent Van Gogh it also arrived in Naples, in the suggestive setting Basilica of San Giovanni Maggiore. The most famous masterpieces of the Dutch artist are projected onto giant high-definition screens, making the spectators live a unique and engaging experience and transmitting the feeling of being right inside every single painting.

Klimt Experience
In addition to Van Gogh Experience there is another unmissable multimedia exhibition to visit during the Christmas holidays. It is about Klimt Experience, the exhibition dedicated to the famous Viennese secession artist who involves viewers at 360 degrees, thanks to video installations and widespread sound effects. His most famous masterpieces, as Il Bacio, Giuditta e The tree of Life are played on Full HD screens, while wearing special 3D glasses you can experience a real interactive experience.

Antonio Ligabue
In Palatine Chapel of the Maschio Angioino there is an exhibition dedicated to Antonio Ligabue, one of the most famous artists of the twentieth century of which he is one of the naive symbols.
An exciting journey through the stages of the artist's incredible life, from his unhappy childhood to his mental problems, to his hospitalization in a psychiatric hospital, through his most interesting works: 51 oil paintings and 7 bronze sculptures, while a separate section is dedicated to graphic production.

The Terracotta Army
La Basilica of the Holy Spirit in via Toledo it hosts, in the national premiere in Naples, the famous Terracotta Army, the statuary group symbolically guarding the mausoleum of the first Chinese emperor Qin Shi Huangdi. An opportunity to admire up close the imposing statues of the terracotta soldiers, reproduced directly from the originals in all the details thanks to the casts used only once by the Chinese craftsmen more than two thousand years ago to realize the original Terracotta Army.

Sebastião Salgado - Genesis
If you love photography, you can not miss the Brazilian photographer's exhibition Sebastião Salgado al PAN - Palace of the Arts of Naples with Genesis, a fascinating exhibition of 245 shots in black and white that express love for the Earth and for nature. The exhibition, which arises from a task trip from Salgado lasted 8 years and became a very successful international tour, represents an interesting anthropological atlas of the planet and is divided into five sections: The Southern Planet, the Sanctuaries of Nature, Africa, the Great North, the Amazon and the Pantanàl.

From De Nittis to Gemito
Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano hosts From De Nittis to Gemito. The Neapolitans in Paris in the years of Impressionism, an exhibition dedicated to the Neapolitan Impressionists, or rather those painters who, operating in Paris in the second half of the nineteenth century, were influenced by the French current of Impressionism. On show beautiful views, landscapes and portraits of famous artists like Giuseppe De Nittis, considered the main exponent of this phenomenon, Vincenzo Gemito, Antonio Mancini, Giuseppe Palizzi and Domenico Morelli and many others.

Luce, the Italian imagination in Naples
In Convent of San Domenico Maggiore one was set up exhibition dedicated to the Istituto Luce and, consequently, to the history of our country from the years 20 to today. Through hundreds of movies and photographs in black and white and color you can recognize yourself in places, situations and events belonging to personal history, but at the same time collective. In a section dedicated to Naples unique and rare films are projected, like Hitler driving through Piazza del Plebiscito in the 1938, the fall of the Mussolini government, but also Totò and De Filippo.

Third Paradise of Pistoletto
The artist Michelangelo Pistoletto, among the most famous exponents of contemporary art and Arte Povera, has chosen to donate his new work entitled Third Paradise to the city of Naples. His installation is exposed to Spanish Neighborhoods, in the headquarters of the FOQUS Foundation, as a symbol of rebirth and regeneration. It is about a work of collective participation, a giant mirror on which one can reflect, leaving in this way a trace of one's passage.

Longobardi, a people that changes history
From December 21 arrives in Naples, al National archeologic museum, a large exhibition that represents the largest exhibition dedicated to the Lombards. You will be able to admire for the first time more than 300 works, hundreds of objects and 17 original video and multimedia installations that will tell the story of this population, through thematic itineraries that enhance the Campanian heritage by deepening the link between Naples, Benevento, Capua and Salerno, South Lombard capitals.
