Plot episode 2×07, The Ghosts
Elena moves to Pisa, where he gets acquainted with franc, an affluent young man who studies there, with whom he establishes a emotional bond. Plot episode 2×08, The Blue Fairy
Elena navigates successfully through his college years. Without the presence of Frank Mari, finds himself once again at the mercy of loneliness, anxiety and the object of ridicule for his southern accent and roots. In this state of mind, she tries her hand at writing a story. Meet Peter, student equally promising and close to graduation. Pietro, fascinated by Elena, invites her to lunch with the high-profile family: her father is the Professor Airota, an authority in academia, and his mother is a respected editor. Despite Pietro's father's offer to assist Elena, Pietro politely declines.
Elena she gets top marks at her degree, and Pietro offers her a diamond, declaring his own love and his intention to marry her. After giving him her manuscript, Elena returns to Napoli, where she is proudly welcomed by her father.
A package arriving at her house reveals that her old woman Olivier teacher she's dead. She had kept both Elena's brilliant report cards and "The Blue Fairy", a short story written by Purple just 10 years old. Elena reads the story and discovers with amazement that the teacher was enthusiastic about it, even though she had never expressed her enthusiasm for her.

Meet Ada, which reveals a series of events to her. Ada, discovering she was pregnant, had gone to confront Lila: during their second meeting, Ada revealed to Lila that she was expecting a child with Stefano and that she wanted to live with him. Enzo, respecting his promise, goes to get Lila, who goes away with him and Gennaro, leaving behind the signs of a comfortable life.
Elena visits the address left by Lila, where a neighbor takes care of little Gennarino while Lila and Enzo are at work. Lila, now an employee of the Salumificio Soccavo, appears as an exhausted worker, but free from her husband's violence. The two friends reunite, without envy and with mutual affection.
Despite Lila's condition, Elena is pleased to see happy friend to know her engaged and with a book about to be published. Finally, a surprising event occurs at the presentation of Elena's book: when a reader criticizes a section of the text, she is defended by another reader, Nino Sarratore.
