Plot episode 2×01, The New Surname
After marriage with Stefano Carracci, Purple discovers, during the honeymoon in Amalfi, the dark side of her husband. Stefano is a man who, to get rich and expand his work, obeys the most powerful in their neighborhood. This reality comes to Lila when she learns that her brother Rino has taken money from the Solaras to open a new shoe factory, all kept secret by Lila.
Despite Purple refuse this situation and try to rebel (by not accepting the traditionally passive role of women), is forced to suffer abuse and physical violence by Stefanor, officially becoming “Mrs. Carracci” at just 16 years old.
In the meantime, Elena, who thought of leaving school, changes his mind thanks to Nino Sarratore, and decides to continue high school together with the others.
Plot episode 2×02, The Body
When Stefano is busy trying to launch afootwear company in the center of Naples, completely off the radar of Purple, Elena, who has chosen not to give up his education, becomes aware of the fact that Antonio and Enzo Scanno have been summoned for the compulsory military service. After an interval of time, Elena meets Lila again at her home, where the latter reveals to her the daily brutalities suffered and the turbulent relationship with Stefano.
Elena, seeking help from Lila to avoid Antonio leaving for the army, decides to do the only thing that seems possible: contact the Solaras. This act arouses enormous irritation in Stefano, as well as in Antonio who, feeling offended, decides to put an end to his relationship with Elena.
Meanwhile, Lila, following a medical examination, realizes she is pregnant, consequence of the rape suffered by Stefano.
