Landart is the artistic exhibition, now in its XNUMXth edition, hosted in one of the most evocative and enchanting places in our territory: the Astroni crater.
It is a state nature reserve established by the Ministry of the Environment in 1987, the first oasis managed by the WWF in Italy, a real green heart located a few steps from the center of Naples. That of the Astroni is an extinct volcano, one of the largest craters among the thirty that "dot" the area of Campi Flegrei. In its 250 hectares for a perimeter of 6,5 km, the Astroni Crater welcomes a great variety of wildlife and Mediterranean vegetation.
In this place of extraordinary scenic beauty the event is held every year Landart, which hosts artistic installations, performances, contemporary works of art, made with local materials, biodegradable and environmentally friendly, created by many artists and creatives and left in these natural places, where they become one with the world, also following they are the natural cycle of growth and death.
This is why the title of this edition takes up an expression of the philosophy of Giordano Bruno: Natura naturans. Art as a creative process. To demonstrate that art can dialogue with nature, and that nature itself gives life to "creative" processes, such as those triggered by the artistic impulse.
86 are the artists of this edition, young and old and coming from everywhere, the authors of the 50 installations built on site. The works will be accompanied by performances, poetry readings, theater-dance performances, yoga classes, musical concerts, workshops on the body and body perception.
Landart 2013 will continue at the Crater of the Astroni in Agnano until June 30, with the aim of protecting and enhancing a “precious” territory from a landscape, geological, historical and environmental point of view, promoting sustainable tourism in the Campania region.

- Friday and Saturday: entry from 9.30 to 13.00, with closure of the Reserve to 14.30.
- Sunday and other holidays: entry from 9,30 to 17.00, with closure of the Reserve to 18.30
