Land Art 2014 is the initiative for the social, economic and tourist revitalization of the Phlegraean Fields which includes walks, paths through natural paths, musical performances and workshops

The project Land Art 2014, now in its tenth edition, is the cultural relaunch initiative of the large Campi Flegrei area of Naples. Each year the chosen location will be different and this year all the scheduled events will take place within the Bosco dei Camaldoli, while the previous edition was organized in the suggestive Astroni park.

The purpose of Land Art is twofold: it proposes both to redevelop the entire Campi Flegrei area and to increase the amount of tourism to the area. The Campi Flegrei lend themselves perfectly to these objectives as places also considered magical and fairytale, for their volcanic origin and connotation and for the aura of mystery that surrounds them due to sensational and inexplicable events that took place over the centuries.

The rediscovery of the places will take place through long and interesting walks among lakes, woods and ruins, through specially organized itineraries to discover the artistic-natural paths most beautiful and park areas. All completed by the installation of three-dimensional conceptual works, made mainly with local natural materials, on site and in the open air.

Land Art will inaugurate the 3 October 2014 and will take place during all the weekends of the same month providing, in addition to the routes already mentioned, also a free series of events, including music, and WORKSHOPSlike drawing and yoga.
With the hope that the whole project can contribute favorably to the development of the rural economy of the area, combining environmental sustainability and stimulation of tourist and cultural attractiveness.

As soon as specific events are announced, we will update the article.
