Eleventh edition of the Le Vele d'Epoca review, the vintage and classic sailing boat regattas in the waters of the Naples waterfront
The Vintage Sails return to the magnificent setting of the Gulf of Naples, for the eleventh review organized by Royal Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia and dedicated to these beautiful retro boats. The festival is inserted in the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge, international racing circuit reserved for vintage and classic sailing boats.
Il Lungomare Caracciolo it is then prepared to host the Vintage Sails but also the thousands of people, between citizens and tourists, who will decide to admire next week, from 2 to 6 July 2014 , the sailing competitions that still characterize the Gulf of Naples for a good 130 years, ever since gentlemen and yachtsmen met to give life to regulations and competitions.
They will participate in the competition wooden or metal hulls with year of launching before 1952 (Vintage Yacht) and 1976 (Classic Yacht), for a total of 33 boats that come from Italy, Ireland, Great Britain, Norway, Spain, France and the United States. But it will be in the water too the old Dragon owned by the Circolo Savoia, Ausonia, first in Italy.
