Mercadante Theater of Naples, walk narrated between the theaters of Naples of Insolitaguida

A walk told to discover the theaters of Naples, famous characters and legends of our city

The cultural association Insolitaguida has organized, for Saturday March 1, a fascinating one walk told to discover the Theaters of Naples, between stories, celebrities, myths, legends, anecdotes and curiosities.

The voices outside, this is the title of the unusual trip, is inspired by Eduardo's famous comedy The voices inside, and refers to the "voices" of the theater which, once spoken, spread through the streets and among the people, eager to make themselves known and to dialogue with the participants of the narrated walk through the alleys of the historic center.

The protagonists of the tour will be the i theaters of Naples: each of them, when touched by the path, as if by magic will become alive and, through the narrator's mouth, will tell its story, causing curiosities and indiscretions relating to the works and characters that it has hosted to re-emerge.

The famous theater Eduardo De Filippo, That of Scarpetta and the most recent one of Nino Taranto e Massimo Troisi, but also musicians such as Mozart and Rossini, will come back to life, together with ancient and modern theaters, starting from that of Nero, hidden between popular buildings, passing through a series of different genres, styles and theater cultures, and then reach the theater of the our days.

Like in the style of Insolitaguida, large space will also be given to the story of legends and mysteries linked to theaters, these “magical” places that contain the history and traditions of our fascinating and evocative city.
