The themes, the paths and all the lights that will invade the city with the Luci d'Artista in Salerno starting from November 2015!

Le Luci d'Artista in Salerno have become, for years now, an unmissable appointment for the Christmas holidays and could not miss even on the occasion of the Christmas .

The illuminations in the city will be turned on November 7, 2015 and they will last until 24 January 2016 illuminating, as for each edition, the streets and squares of Salerno, making every corner of the town unique.
Citizens and tourists, who each year come in thousands, can walk among the colors and the lights of the beautiful bright artwork made to make the atmosphere magical and joyful.

The theme

The theme of this tenth edition will be "Tales, Aurora and the Enchanted Garden“, Whose main element will be the Forest which will be installed in the central Piazza Flavio Gioia, embellishing the rotunda with its luminous LEDs. The new characters of Pinocchio e Alice in Wonderland will complete the path of the illuminations dedicated to fairy tales, carried out for some years. But there will also be other characters from fairy tales, elements on Autumn and Spring, as well as many works that will recall the symbols of Christmas like the tree, Santa's sleigh and the Madonna and Child.

The inauguration

The inauguration of Luci d'Artista 2015 will take place on 7th November both at Villa Comunale of Salerno. It will be an evocative event because it will start towards the 17.00 hours, with the first twilight created by the sunset, with the lighting of the Enchanted Garden. At the same time all the other works installed in the streets and squares of the rest of the city will also be turned on.

The routes

For the first time the new will also be included Santa Teresa beach in the thematic paths of the Luci d'Artista in Salerno. This year the itineraries will be divided following four different themes: the Mito, Dream, Time , Christmas. Each will include some streets of the city with themed installations. Christmas markets

The 27 November 2015 will be inaugurated i Christmas markets that will animate the streets of the Luci d'Artista of Salerno. All the stands will be typically made of wood and will host both food products from various Italian regions and stalls for local handicraft products. Some of them will also be foreigners. The markets will be set up on the seafront and embellished with artificial snow on the roofs, lights and there will be lots of music to entertain visitors.
For the inauguration i will be fired fireworks on the beach of Santa Teresa.
One of the novelties of this year concerns the preparation of the Santa's house for all children.

Getting there and parking

By car:

Who arrives from the north must take the A1 Naples-Salerno and exit at Vietri sul Mare or Salerno, or take the A 30 Caserta-Rome and exit at Fratte / Salerno Centro.
Who comes from the south, instead, you must take the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria and exit at Fratte / Salerno Centro or at Pontecagnano towards Fratte / Tangenziale and continue towards the Industrial Zone up to Fratte._
Furthermore, we must take into account the info on mobility issued by the Municipality of Salerno.

By metro and train

Those who want to reach the city by public transport can rely on the metro or to trains of Trenitalia. It will suffice to consult the timetables to get to Salerno stop, in the heart of the city and from where you can immerse yourself immediately in the beauty of the illuminations.

Parking

There are many rest areas and the largest is near the Stadio Arechi (from here there will be shuttles available to get downtown). To reach its parking, simply follow the signs that lead to the stadium, present as soon as you enter the city. Other parking lots are present in via Ligea e via Vinciprova.
They are also available camper areas at the Marconi seafront and the Mercatello Park Area
