Chiara Marciani, Councilor for Youth Policies, and Gaetano Manfredi, Mayor of Naples, have recently presented the prestigious award NEXT JAN NA to the actor Matthew Paulillo and to the manufacturer Robert Sessa for their efforts in making the TV series Sea Out.

Sea Out is a series that highlights i positive values ​​related to young people and shows the protagonists' desire to free themselves from stereotypes and labels, trying to improve their world despite the obstacles. The city of Naples is renewed by this story full of hope.

Cross-media format to involve young people

The cross-media format, conceived by the Department of Labor and Youth Policies of the The municipality of Naples, in collaboration with the SocietingLAB and the Youth Observatory, it aims to capture the real needs of young people through different means of communication, including traditional and digital media. The December 2022 campaign achieved broad consensus, reaching beyond 2.743.034 contacts.

The objective of the format is to create an opportunity for dialogue and comparison between young people and the Public Administration to imagine a Naples that overcomes stereotypes and oleographies, welcoming and giving a voice to the next generation.
