The use of the mask will no longer be mandatory in Campania from 22 June! Here are the exceptions.
From Monday 22 June 2020 the use of the mask becomes optional in Campania. The President of the Region announced it Vincenzo De Luca during his usual Friday speech, within his direct Facebook.
The President, however, specifies that of course the mask it must be worn in closed places, such as shops, supermarkets, restaurants and many others, or in those without ventilation. In any case, it is mandatory by law on all occasions in which you can create gatherings.
For this reason it is always good practice to bring it with you even if you do not go indoors and when you are outside because there could be situations of gathering. Therefore, the mask must necessarily be worn in these circumstances, despite being outside. President De Luca, however, is keen to specify that his advice is to always wear it, even outside, to be safer and to protect others.
During the same live Facebook, De Luca also anticipated theopening of discos, bingo halls and betting rooms, which will happen in a few days.
