In disagreement with national standards, Vincenzo De Luca has issued a regional ordinance which still provides for the obligation of a mask also outside in Campania especially "in any situation in which interpersonal distancing cannot be guaranteed or when gatherings or crowds occur" 28 from June to July 31 2021.
The President especially refers to all those places that are not isolated like promenades, urban centers, in the squares, in public transport such as buses, metro, ships, ferries and similar locations.
Of course, there is also the obligation to wear the mask in all indoor places, but this is valid throughout Italy despite the positive opinion of the Scientific Technical Committee on the end of the obligation outdoors in the white zone.
The ordinance was published on 25 June and also provides for the ban on sales with take-away of alcohol from 22.00 to 6.00. Therefore, no commercial activity including bars, restaurants, pizzerias, pubs, kiosks and the like can proceed with the sale. In addition, it will not be possible to consume alcohol in public areas or areas open to the public and consumption is allowed only at tables or at the counter.
