Concert by Massimo Ranieri with five stars of Italian jazz at the Royal Palace of Caserta for the review Un'estate da Re!
The June 29 2017 Will be held the Massimo Ranieri concert at the Royal Palace of Caserta, on the occasion of the musical season "A summer like a king". The Neapolitan artist will propose "Malia“, A reinterpretation of twelve classics of the Neapolitan song of the fifties and sixties revisited in a jazz key. Show that until now he had only offered in the great Italian theaters such as the Teatro San Carlo of Naples, the Phoenix of Venice and the Petruzzelli of Bari.
The histrionic artist wanted to explore a world completely alien to him and from this experience an extraordinary work was born that will also involve those who generally do not listen to this musical genre. In the album he not only included songs by Neapolitan authors but also some that according to him were written by "Neapolitans ad honorem”Like Renato Rascel, Fred Bongusto and the great Domenico Modugno.
Among the songs that the singer will propose we remember: "Anema e cor", "Resta cu'mme", "Nun è sin", "Luna caprese" and "Doce doce". In this live, Massimo Ranieri will be accompanied by five Italian jazz stars: the trumpet Enrico Rava, the saxophones Stefano Di Battista, the piano Rita Marcotulli, the double bass Riccardo Fioravanti and the drums Stefano Bagnoli.
