Massimo Ranieri will return to the Palapartenope of Naples on 29 and 30 May 2015 with the theatrical show I dream and I am awake.
Giovanni Calone, Ranieri's real name, took his first steps in the music world as a child but his popularity was consecrated in music programs such as Cantagiro, Canzonissima and the Sanremo festival, in which he presented evergreen pieces like Red roses, If burned the city, Twenty years and Lose love.
In fifty years of career, Ranieri has proved to be a multifaceted artist, devoting himself not only to singing but also to acting, both cinematographic and theatrical, enjoying great success with audiences and critics. His tours are always sold out and this show I dream and I am awake already has been replicated several times, thanks to the unexpected success of the TV show from the title of the same name conducted by the same Ranieri who on that occasion has duet with famous colleagues such as De Gregori, Mannoia, Masini and Pino Daniele.
In I dream and I am awake, the singer will re-propose pieces by pop, rock and classic Neapolitan music, reinterpreting them with his limpid and strong voice, accompanied by dreamy choreography.
