Easter Markets and Fairs 2023 in the historic center of Naples, street food and crafts

The tradition of Easter markets returns in 2023, with i typical Neapolitan products which pastry, cakes and casatiello. The appointment is for Holy Week, which falls on April 9 this year. The squares of the historic center will host stands with typical local products of the Neapolitan Easter tradition. In addition to tortani, casatielli and pastiere, there will also be the classic doves, Easter eggs and chocolate bunnies.

The stands will also offer items from local crafts. The II Municipality of Montecalvario-Avvocata, which includes a large part of the historic center of Naples, approved the resolution of the municipal council on 8 March, establishing the places where the Easter stands will be set up.

Where to find the 2023 Easter markets in Naples

I markets of typical products will make their return also for Easter 2023, following the same model of the installations made the previous year. Precisely they have been prepared 11 areas of the historic center where will be held Easter fairs.

  • Piazza Salvo D'Acquisto (both sides)
  • Miguel de Cervantes street
  • Via Armando Diaz
  • Via Giulio Cesare Cortese

  • Market Square
  • Piazza Porta Nova
  • Ramps San Marcellino

Furthermore, as already mentioned, the European market, with food and wine stands and crafts that will offer European international products. Also this year the stands will be present in the area of ​​the church of Santa Chiara and piazza del Gesù, but stalls will also be added in piazza Bovio, piazza Mercato and piazza Carità.
