Merienda Real is the re-enactment in Bourbon period clothes in the gardens of the Royal Palace of Caserta with picnics, dances and parades.
Il 3 June 2017 the Palace of Caserta home Merienda Real, Bourbon re-enactment in period clothes. The event is in collaboration with the Borboni si Nasce and Officina delle Idee Association. The extras will wear dresses from the 700s and 800s, with which they will parade and dance in the gardens of the royal palace.
For the whole day they are scheduled parades, historical dances and picnics in the Park with different stages during the event. It will start, in fact, from Piazza Margherita, passing through the Upper Vestibule of the Royal Palace and ending in Royal Gardens with the real re-enactment of the Merienda Real, followed by a walk of the costumed participants.
