There will be a night tour of the Monastery of Santa Chiara in Naples followed by a gospel choir concert by the Gospel Voices choir.
Saturday December 2 2017 there will be a night tour at Monastery of Santa Chiara followed by an evocative concert of gospel choirs.
The tour will start at the 15 ticket office minutes before the time and will take participants through the wonderful monumental complex, starting from Maiolicato Cloister with its 64 octagonal pillars covered with majolica with plant scenes and arriving to the room where the nativity scene with eighteenth and nineteenth century shepherds.
The peculiarity of the crib is in the representation of the characters and scenes of daily life of the period in which it was created and, respecting the Neapolitan presepial tradition, the scene is not limited to the holy family but there are craftsmen, pastors, guests and all the types of people and social clashes of the time.
At the end of the visit there will be the Gospel Show curated by the 18 elements of the Gospel Voices choir, whose repertoire will range from timeless classics to the reinterpretation of modern songs to Christmas carols.
