At the Complex of Santa Chiara in Naples, extraordinary visits to the rooms that are usually closed to the public

Il Monumental Complex of Santa Chiara opens its doors to visitors for the month of May 2016 with the guided tours straoridinarie. It will be possible, from Thursday to Saturday, visit all those places that are generally closed to the public.

You will admire in the Maiolicato Cloister of the Poor Clares the frescoes depicting saints and scenes from the Old Testament and in the avenues the 64 pillars covered with hand-painted majolica; the 18th century crib made in Naples during the reign of Ferdinand IV of Bourbon; the traces of Giotto's frescoes and his Neapolitan workshop such as those visible on the wall of the Chorus of the Poor Clares.
