A little while ago on the Instagram and Facebook profiles of Paolo Belli the sad news of the death of Bruno Sand, comedian of the duo Prickly pears, which have entertained viewers so much in recent years. The artistic companion and great friend of Max Cavallari he died at the age of 65 after a long illness. Nine years ago he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage following a ruptured aneurysm and has never recovered since. He was in fact in a wheelchair and had never fully recovered his speech.

It was the news on social media Paolo Belli who shared a photo with the comedian, accompanying the tender image with broken hearts and the message: "Rip, my great friend". In the last few years Bruno Sand he had retired to his family surrounded by the affection of his loved ones and friends, including Max Cavallaro, with whom he formed the comic duo Prickly pears, the maximum entertainment for the television audience of the past years.

Sand fell ill in January 2013 after recording the second episode of Zelig. He was rushed to the San Raffaele hospital in Milano where the doctors operated for the cerebral hemorrhage due to the aneurysm. After the surgery he was transferred to post-operative resuscitation always in the Lombard hospital.

Bruno Sand he met his inseparable colleague and friend Max Cavallari a Palinuro in Cilento where they founded the comic duo and since then they have only collected hits including that of "La sai last" and "Zelig", of course. Prickly pears they also starred in two films including "Love at first sight"of Vincenzo Salemme.
