The Archaeological Museum of Naples will host the exhibition dedicated to Gianni Versace with an exhibition of clothes and objects by the designer.
The July 13 2017 the exhibition "Dialogues / Dissing - Gianni Versace Magna Grecia Tribute" to the Archaeological Museum of Naples dedicated to the famous designer in the twentieth anniversary of his death.
The exhibition-event will be open to the public from the 14 July to the September 20 and will host not only the private collection of clothes and the Versace objects collected over the years by Antonio Caravano, but also works by other artists such as the three sculptures by Marcos Marin, works by Manuela Brambatti, Bruno Gianesi, Marco Abbamondi and Ilian Rachov and theolfactory dress created by the Neapolitan company Mansfield.
Il Fil rouge that will bind all these objects is the relationship between Gianni Versace and Magna Grecia, concept that will extend to the idea of fashion, fashion language and history.
Moreover, the Versace Foundation will organize one on the twentieth anniversary of the designer's death charity gala dinner at the Averno Damiani tourist complex to raise funds for the Operation Smile Italia non-profit foundation presided over by Santo Versace, the designer's brother.
