At the Pan the exhibition on the Brigands of southern Italy will be exhibited in an original way outside the Palazzo instead of inside

A very special exhibition, the one that the Pan di Napoli will exhibit until 17st January next. An exhibition of which you will be immediately aware, even if you have not read any article about it, on condition that you are near Via dei Mille.

In fact, it is an all-organized exhibition outside the building del Pan: well 9 banners of very large dimensions are dropped from the third floor of the building, to cover the facade. They are 9 large sheets that depict as many images related to the brigandage phenomenon In southern Italy.

This is an idea in line with the exhibition project entitled "Interstitial spaces: Banners in the PAN“, Curated by Beppe Palomba, whose goal is to make Art immediately available to the eye of the observer, making sure that it is exposed outside, and not inside, the palaces of culture and art. The first exhibition of this type was held just over a year ago, again at the Pan, with “Aprotepein”, whose banners were a playful response to the tragic Mayan prophecy about the end of the world.

In the wake of the success of that event, this exhibition on brigands and characters will therefore be proposed "A bit patriotic and a bit outlaw, mirror of the contradictions and the diatribe between conservation and revolution, between past and present, between libertarian utopia and reason of state".

Furthermore, being a cycle, the event will be followed by two other installations: one entitled "Fables and Sirens", Scheduled from February 12, and the other on"Ex Voto", in March. Both will last 10 days each and all the sketches will be visible in the PAN Piano Room.
