Movida in Naples, here is the ordinance: new closing times of the premises and the prohibitions

As he had already anticipated a few days ago, the mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi published the order which concerns the closing times of the clubs, and not only, in Naples in the nightlife areas.

Applies only to some areas of the city, those considered most at risk of criticality due to the formation of gatherings in this pandemic period.

The order will be valid from Thursday 17 February 2022 and will last 4 months to try to limit the opportunities for crowding and, therefore, the risk of contagion from Covid-19.

What the ordinance provides

The provision provides for the following rules in the areas that we have indicated in more detail in the next paragraph:

shops that sell food and drinks, both fixed and mobile, including kiosks, but excluding restaurants and pizzerias in relation to table service, must closed and close:
- from Sunday to Thursday at 01:00 the following day. 30 minutes of tolerance are allowed for arranging tables and equipment and for cleaning operations;
- on Fridays and Saturdays they must close at 02:00 the following day and also in this case an additional 30 minutes are allowed for accommodation and cleaning operations;
- in both cases the restaurant cannot be reopened before 05:00 in the morning.
neighborhood premises of small, medium and large distribution they are not allowed to sell take-away alcoholic beverages from midnight;
any public and commercial exercise cannot play music and sounds outside the premises beyond 24:00. This also applies if you have an acoustic clearance;
è It is forbidden to use amplifiers and / or percussion in the street 23 pm: 00.

The penalties for those who transgress

Who does not comply with the ordinance:

is subject to a fine ranging from 25 to 500 euros if he does not respect the previous points 1, 2, 3 and 4;
furthermore, if the transgression is repeated, the suspension of activity up to a maximum of fifteen days.
