Sunday 1 February you can enter for free in the state museums of Naples, thanks to the renewed initiative #DomenicalMuseo
The appointment is renewed with #DomenicalMuseo, the initiative of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage which allows free admission to museums on the first Sunday of each month, in application of the Franceschini Decree in force since July 2014.
Specifically, you can enter for free not only in all state museums, but also in archaeological sites and archaeological sites, parks, galleries and monumental gardens.
Even Naples, as well as all of Campania, participates in the initiative allowing citizens and numerous tourists to get to know our splendid artistic and cultural heritage. The project immediately met with great success, especially in some palaces and museums where the influx of visitors was truly record-breaking.
Furthermore, every month, the number of registered entries increases more and more, so that from July to December last year it almost doubled.
In our region, among the most visited sites are the Royal Palace of Caserta and the excavations of Pompeii, which are placed among the first places of the most visited places in all of Italy.
