More than 4000 Italian and international athletes will participate in the Naples City Half Marathon 2017 in the most beautiful places in the city!
Sunday February 5 the Naples City Half Marathon 2017, a sporting event that will see the participants running in the most beautiful places in the city. The race is organized by Napoli Running, and in its fourth edition promises another great success.
In fact, the inscriptions are closed more than 4000 subscribers, of which 45% comes from outside the Campania region, and representatives 35 foreign countries. As the name of the initiative suggests, the route is half the length of the traditional marathon: 21,097 kilometers, with departure in Viale JF Kennedy and arrival, after having reached the promenade and having returned, in the park of the Mostra d'Oltremare.
Among the places of the competition will parade Piazza del Plebiscito, Caracciolo seafront, National archeologic museum, via Duomo, the San Paolo Stadium and many others. In the objective of the organizers, the race precludes the return of the real marathon in our city, scheduled for 2018. Naples thus becomes capital of sport on several fronts, thanks also to the 2019 Universiade that will take place here.
